Being tan is literally one of my favorite things. I know that sounds literally as basic as I can get, but I am serious, I love it haha. My mom and I joke about how white we get in the winter months which living in Colorado that means we basically spend 11 out of the 12 months white. LOL! So we have picked up a few things that work best and through trial and error, I am here to share with you some of my secrets!
Lets start with the products I use. As a disclaimer, I do not use all these products together! But if you do, be sure to let me know how it looks! Haha.
1. The L'oreal products have worked wonders from me since day one. I have never had any issues using them and absolutely love them. I will say though that all these products leave a smell on your skin. I have never minded it, but Ryan is disgusted by it. So I do recommend doing this before bed!
these bad boys are great and work very very well. It is great for avoiding streaks and all that fun stuff that comes along with self tanning. Give these wipes some time to develop. Another reason why I suggest doing this before bed, is you give your body a full 12 hours (hopefully!!) before rinsing (taking shower) to develop.
I use the Spray after a day of having the tan after my first shower. It helps lock the tan in but I will say that I do not recommend using this as a full base of tan. It leaves pretty heavy tan marks and lines but it will help keep your initial color from the other products!
This is the stuff I use as my initial tan and let me tell you after trial & error with other tanning products and with figuring out how to use this tanning foam, this stuff is great! I did realize that without the mitt, my tan was basically non existent so completely recommend 100% buying the mitt along with the tanning foam.
To achieve the color I want, I put about three foam squeezes on my mitt.
If you try any of these out, let me know what you think!
